Using test release 1.0.7.20090805 to transfer contacts from bitpim to the subject phone.

I am getting truncated contact names, no area codes despite the AC format, and truncated numbers both prefixes and suffixes and a scrambling of numbers vs. contacts.

I have tried importing and exporting .csv files with every Office 2007 program i.e. Excel, Access, Word etc. and I have IMHO a very clean Excel .csv which I imported cleanly into bitpim and exported it to the phone.  Nothing works well…sometime it is less scrambled but never any area codes and never full phone numbers.

I must be doing something wrong but the archives are silent on the problem except someone having a similar issue.

Thanks.

Ted
