LSM - 10th Libre software Meeting 2009

Hi,

10th LSM from 7 to 11 July 2009 in Nantes - France.

Im doing a presentation about the debian community. And If I well remember,
other DDs will be there too. We are about to do 4-5 conferences on various
themes.

I will be the booth organizer so if you have questions, feel free to ping me on
IRC or by mail.

I don't know if we have posters and T-Shirts available for selling.. If you can tell
me, it would be nice.

I'll be there to give talks about Debian Med and Debian Science (at least).
I will not bring any merchandising stuff and will not sit on the booth
because I'm lacking any knowledege in French language.  Moreover I'm there
with my family ...

I'll be there as well. I'm supposed to do two talks: one on "the
distributions ecosystem" (what's a linux distro, collaboration between
distros and with upstream projects), and one on voting methods (focused
on governance of projects).

I don't really plan to help with the booth. Have you thought of sending
a call for help on planet Debian or planet DebianFR? Maybe some users
would be willing to help. Another option if you lack manpower is to
contact people from UbuntuFR and do a joint booth.

ask people working at credative, they store some promo materials (incl. a nice
banner) and other stuff. some read the list too, so they should be able to
jump in. guess the biggest problem is getting the stuff to you / LSM.

Just a small remember that the debian booth will be organized by Aurélien
Courdec and me.

We will have there the debian banner, about 70 T-shirts and 100 stickers.

I hope this will be a nice week and as you can see, we have about 5-7 conferences
done by DDs, that's really nice !!
