Launchpad "Filipino" team and Translation Project(s)

Hi,

    Is it possible if we can redirect the Ubuntu Filipino l10n to the
Ubuntu Tagalog l10n team?

    "Filipino" is still, in my opinion, the proper language we should
use and not "Tagalog".  I suggested redirection from the Filipino team
to the Tagalog team to avoid the ff:
        a) redundancy
        b) asking everyone to join the Filipino team
        c) asking sub-teams to join the Filipino team

    If Launchpad can move everyone from the "Tagalog" team to the
"Filipino" then by all means we should choose that to avoid confusion
and to truly reflect that we are translating "Filipino" not "Tagalog".
Then redirect the Tagalog team link to the Filipino team link.

    Anyway, I am currently translating the Blog Platform "b2evolution"
into "Filipino".  This is my choice of blogging platform (I don't like
WordPress, too limited for me :p ), I chose to translate this for the
following reasons:
       a) I've used the software since v0.xx, I'm familiar with the
strings to translate (ie where these are located and what it refers to)
       b) This is my first translation project - in a way, this is a
training ground for me
       c) I'm going to market b2evolution in the country and Filipinos
abroad ;)
       d) I'm also doing a translation into "Baybayin"
(wrongly/inaccurately called "Alibata") = It is called in Unicode as the
"Tagalog Script"  (see my blog using Firefox 3.5 -

          I use PoEdit for local translations into "Filipino" (lang
code: "fil") and "Baybayin" (lang code: "fil-Tglg").
          (my latest translation is not yet up in the launchpad page)

    From here, once I get used to it and get more experienced in the use
of PoEdit and Launchpad side-by-side, I will help with other
Ubuntu-related translations.

    PS
    Some food:
       lang encoding
          1) en-PH = Philippine English; two examples - "jeepney" and
"owner" are Philippine English words.  It doesn't exist in other English
dialects.
          2) fil = Filipino language; it is illegal to write it as
"fil-PH" as far as ISO, IANA, etc. are concerned (the "standards" bodies).
          3) fil-Tglg = Filipino language written in Baybayin
          4) ceb = Cebuano language
          5) ceb-Tglg = Cebuano language written in Baybayin
          6) phi = All other Philippine languages that doesn't have an
ISO 639-2 and/or ISO 639-3 examples:
                   a) phi-krj = Kinaray-a
                   b) phi-mrw = Maranao
          7) bik-bcl = Bikolano language in the Central Bikolano dialect
          8) bik-bhk = Bikolano language in the Albay dialect (aka
Buhi-Daraga)
