Lenovo X41T Tablet PC stylus

Hi, I have a Lenovo X41T tablet PC running Windows XP which I'd like to
use with gimp (using 2.4.6), but currently the stylus is treated as a
normal mouse rather than getting me the right sample rate, pressure
sensitivity, etc.  I also see No extended input devices found; am I
supposed to install Wacom drivers?  Thanks in advance for any help.

You do need drivers which do provide the Wintab interface. If the tablet parts of this tablet PC are provided by Wacom, then this will most likely be the Wacom drivers.

I think that TabletPCs in general don't have anything to do with
WinTab, though. I would love to be proved wrong, of course.

That's too bad.  Are there any ongoing efforts to add Gimp support for
Tablet PCs?

The support needs to be added to GTK+, not GIMP. But anyway, no, not
as far as I know.
