Libtiff 3.9.1 is now released. Please read about it at
http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/v3.9.1.html. In particular, a
dire bug was discovered in the 3.9.0 release which may produce broken
TIFF files so please do not use that release.
This release has passed the test suites for GDAL and GraphicsMagick.
Source packages are available at ftp://ftp.remotesensing.org/pub/libtiff and
will soon be available at mirror sites.
Libtiff 3.9.1 is produced from the 'branch-3-9' branch in the libtiff
CVS repository. Its focus is to provide existing users of libtiff
3.8.2 (and earlier) with a stable libtiff which incorporates bug and
security fixes.
Please report any bugs according to the procedure documented at
http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/bugs.html.
