Linksys like web interface for NSLU2After removing linksys firmware and installing debian 5.0 on my slug, I was affraid because there is no web interface to set shares and others parameters.
In fact, for me, it was not really a problem, but the other users of our lan used always this way to check the space on the disk... So during a lot of nights, I wrote in PHP a web interface with aproximativly the same possibilities than the original linksys one. At this time, the installtion is only manual... You need only a little web server like lighttpd with php5 and after uncompress the gui in the server root. If somebody want to test it, send me a mail. Alain. |

Instead of folks creating the overhead of email or length threads here, would you consider one of the following and notifying the group: * posting it in the Yahoo Group "nslu2-general" Files folder * posting it to your github.com account (they're free and you'd have rights & version control. Think Facebook for source code -- social code hub. * posting it the website drop.io. The account is created and tied to file at the time of upload. It's slick and will keep files from months to 1 year without `touch`ing it. Thanks, Mark S. |
