Well
not entirely seamless apparently. Your personal settings will not be
transferred. The default for all ID-F subscribers in the new KSU system
will be post (as it is presently for almost all of you) and no mail (as
it is presently for about half of you).
Those of you who want to continue receiving an e-mail message with each post
will have to change your personal settings from no mail to mail once the
changeover has been confirmed. On the odd chance that you forget how to do
that, the proper steps are:
Address an e-mail to
listserv@... . In the body of the message
(not the subject line) write "set birdwg01 mail" . If you prefer to get your
messages in digest form, the command is set birdwg01 digest.
The changeover is scheduled for June 27 between 8 am and noon CDT. There
may of course be delays.
