Anyone know what's inside the logic probe for the HP 54645D MSO?  Is
it possible to build my own (slow) interface until I find a good deal
on a new/used one?

Alternately, anyone know a good place to find one?   It's a 16 bit
(2x8) cable/pod assembly that goes for $300 new on Ebay.  The pod
needed (if you happen to have some extra lying about) is HP Agilent
54620-61801.

There are series resistors at the probe end - I'm fairly sure they are 90K. May also be a small (few
pf) cap across the resistor.

I'm fairly sure the cable assy is the same as used on the 1650/51 logic analysers- you may get a
whole analyser with cables for $300!
