We are seeking a Senior Consultant with Java Web Technology Background

You have a broad technological background with a focus on Java Web  
Technologies, and like to work as a Subject Matter Expert. Experience  
as a consultant – preferably in the area of Web Content Management –  
is expected.

Your responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• helping potential clients during the initial product evaluation;
• advising customers how to successfully implement their Magnolia  
project;
• suggesting development, integration and deployment approaches for  
specific requirements;
• holding developer workshops for clients;
• prototyping solutions;
• generating and providing expert know-how on Magnolia deployment and  
system architecture, including backup strategies, load-balancing,  
failover, security, multi-sites and general configuration;
• traveling to the client's location to provide the above services on-
site.


Our requirements

We are looking for a team player who:

• has a sharp mind - "razor-sharp" would be preferred;
• has the background, education and experience to meet the challenges  
of the position, and specifically, has ample experience in Java and  
web-based enterprise application development, integration and  
deployment;
• has experience in as many operation systems, application servers,  
databases and related products as possible (e.g. Unix, Solaris, OSX,  
Windows; Websphere, Weblogic, Glassfish, Tomcat, JBoss; Oracle, MySQL,  
SQL Server etc.)
• is fluent in English and has strong customer-service and  
communication skills. Fluency in German, Spanish or another language  
would be an advantage;
• is willing and able to travel frequently;
• is enthusiastic about meeting new people and constantly facing new  
challenges;
• is reliable, trustworthy and has professional integrity.
