Hi, we need a script in coldfusion for building a multi vendor / virtual mall like Etsy dot com. it will be used in my country (not in english)..so... it won't compete with etsy. if there is NO ready script, then... Hehe...good one Cameron. :) But seriously Nugroho, you're looking for something that doesn't exist, at least not in anything close to the form you're asking for. You might be able to find ready-built components - free or not - to do some of what you're looking for, but you're going to have to do a LOT of integration and development work. My exposure to etsy consists of looking at their homepage just now, but a wild guess is you're looking at between 2 and 10 worker-years to get a bare-bones site whose functionality is similar to theirs...and it could be considerably more than that when you start considering security and scalability requirements. You might want to consider contacting etsy about a licensing deal, because that's probably going to be more affordable and will definitely be a whole lot faster. As others said, you may not see a complete package off the shelve, but I thought to share this with you which may interest you, there is a nice free CF application http://www.coldbricks.com/ , I know it is CMS but it comes with a nice feature of integrating portals, so in this case you may only focus on getting ready portals or write your own. Actually, Nugroho contacted me off-the-list about doing this in CFWebstore and it looks like it should be a good fit. My software already has a vendor-specific product upload function built in so with a little modification, it shouldn't be hard to build an Etsy-like site in it. We did something similar at samplerewards.com.
