Mac 2004.7r3HF3 A4d4.0.2 crashing when stale cookie in response header is present for new session

I am consistently crashing 4D Server (web server) after logging off this
site, and then re-accessing the same site with the same browser
window/instance.

 

If I use a new browser instance, 4D Server does not crash.

 

I strongly suspect the problem is the stale session cookie.

 

I purchased the Developer license last August.

 

The customer purchased their key more than a year ago.

 

Is an upgrade to 4.5r1 the correct solution? Is this solution already paid
for, or does it require further upgrade purchase by my client?
