Hi all,
Since the upgrade of the MacOS X 10.5 PPC buildslave, when I restart
buildbot on it, it will work fine for few hours, after which the build
will fail at the first step (pulling code from ns-3-dev) saying:
abort: error: Temporary failure in name resolution
Of course when I connect to the machine directly and do hg clone
http://code.nsnam.org/ns-3-dev , it works very well. I have been on some
forums and it looks like it is because of MacOS system upgrade
(
http://buildbot.net/trac/ticket/222). It does not guarantee server
daemons to work properly and we have to go through the launchd daemon to
ensure that buildbot will work. After few hours trying to fix that, I
ended up making the process works. Normally this time Mac will not let
us down after few hours.
