MainClass property?

I was just wondering, when you select a MainClass in netbeans, is this stored
in a property that can be used in the manifest generation configuration of
the maven-jar-plugin?

if I recall correcty, in current codebase (3.1.x) the main class is
only stored in the IDE action mappings file (nbactions.xml). I've
figured it's rather hard to do any edits to the pom.xml that would
keep everyone happy.
However I guess the UI shall be checking the jar-plugin's
configuration and if main class is defined there, then use the value
in UI and also populate back any changes.

Feel free to file an enhancement request.
