Information Security Programme Manager (Financial Sector)
London + Travel

Reporting/liaising with delivery managers for all aspects of project delivery, including team leading, maintaining client relationships, managing the commercial aspects of projects, managing change and handling difficult client situations.

Salary £80k + (neg)


JOB REQUIREMENTS

The role would fit candidates with relevant experience who have reached Senior Manager or Director grade or equivalent and are currently in practice or industry

Experience:
Our client is looking for a heavy hitting, delivery focused, Security Programme Manager who has delivered £5M+ infrastructure programmes in a large scale organisation with teams in excess of 25 members.
• Experience of full lifecycle programmes with significant IT Security change.
• Experience of working closely and successfully with clients up to senior management level and of managing difficult client situations.
• Candidates for this role need to be versatile enough to tackle primarily complex projects but also delivery management.
• Good relationship building/management and interpersonal skills are essential.

Essential Skills:
• Management of Multi­disciplinary and cross department teams preferably in a Matrix organisational context.
• Experience of Project Management methodologies, tools, techniques (Prince 2, ITIL based or PMI etc).
• Proven ability to develop and maintain project plans, internal and external status reports suitable for presentation to a Programme Board/ Steering committee
• Proven Delivery as a Programme Manager with experience of project decomposition, project tracking, and progress control, project progress reporting, problem and issue management
• Proven successful delivery and development of excellent customer relationships with firm balance of commercial attitude.
• Proven ability of managing Multiple Parallel Projects
