Ideally the only time you should have to do a manual "updateapp" is when you make a change to the underlying code. geoff http://www.daemon.com.au/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-beta" group. Re: Managing PermissionsHi Geoff, Whilst I found that the issue "disappeared" after updating the app I can not say definitively that this is the resolution. I am currently creating a lot of roles and permissions as a result of integrating another application into the farcry framework. If I can replicate and this resolve the issue via the stated method (or any other method) I will add to the bugs.farcry. thanks Trent On Tue, Jan 20, 2009 at 11:37 AM, modius <modius@...> wrote: > > On Jan 20, 9:38 am, trents <trent.sheph...@...> wrote: >> fixed-- >> >> found that I needed to url.updateapp after editing roles and >> permissions > > Would be worth adding this as an issue at http://bugs.farcrycms.org/ > -- I think that if you need to "updateapp" after a roles or > permissions change, that this ought to be done automatically by the > system.
