Mandatory fields not getting validated in bugzilla 4.0.3

Hi,

I have installed bugzilla 4.0.3. I have made several mandatory fields
linked to a specific product. Whenever I try to submit a bug without
filling up these fields it submits without showing any error. But if I
make the fields for every product in the list then the validations
occur. Can anyone help me with this? I want the product specific
mandatory fields to be validated.
