Market Basket Analysis

I'm trying to find the best way to conduct a "market basket analysis", to
identify what products are commonly purchased together with the goal of
identifying and maximizing cross selling opportunities (more details on
this technique here:

ng_system_in_small_townWhy).  I imagine that this is a frequently used
analysis, as such wanted to solicit feedback in terms of how best to
conduct the analysis.  Appreciate your help!

Check out the plugins page on the SPSS website.  I believe there is one using
R or Python.
