Maven release for 2.x?

Dear list,

I am interested in using Jencks but can only see dated versions in public maven repositories. For instance, at

  http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/jencks/jencks

the latest release is 1.1.3 although the Jencks homepage lists 2.0 (and this mailing list mentions 2.1) as the latest release.

Is 2.1 official?

Can one expect a Maven release? (Or was this somebody else who did these Maven releases?)
