Medical Class 1, 2, 3 vs. Class A, B, C

I know the new medical forms are mandantory next year and the rules have changed on when the scouts must have a phyiscal by a physician, every year now instead of every three years.  But, the Class 2 medical form was good for three years and Troopmaster reports that the scout needs to update his medical to the new every year standards.  Is there a way to adjust the expiration date of a scouts need for a new physical when he still has one year left on his class 2???
