MerchandiseThis is a thread to talk about any SJ-related merchandise - what do you have? What do you want? What do you wish they'd release?
I personally have all the SJA tie-in books released so far, but I'm still waiting on the action figure and the sonic lipstick. I would love, love, love for them to release figures of the other characters, and maybe an attic playset for them to hang out in. I'd love to see an Alan action figure with a little skateboard and/or bike. And maybe Chrissie with her little suitcase. The other thing I'd really love to see is original tie-in YA novels, especially now, while there's no SJA on the TV, I think original novels would help keep kids interested. Or they could do some more audiobooks - two just isn't enough! I just end up listening to them over and over! Re: MerchandiseThe only piece of SJA merchandise I own, is one of the Audiobooks.
I would love if they released a whole selection of SJA characters and some classic Sarahs. I would also like a to scale 13 Bannerman Road (with a pop-out Mr Smith) but that's unlikely. However I would love love LOVE a cuddly Sarah doll, you all know you want one, shed come with a variety of clothes from the classic series and SJA and she'll be soft and snuggly. If only. As for more audiobooks, I'd agree, but rather than audiobooks, I'd much rather they release audiodramas (you know, like the Big Finish releases). As much as I love to listen to Lis talk, I just prefer sound effects and a number of actors. (and besides, Luke's adorkableness doesn't fully come across in the audiobooks.) Oh, and a Harry action figure would be nice. And one of The Brig. MAKE TEA. NOT WAR |

Re: MerchandiseAww, that cuddly doll thing sounds like an awesome idea! I would totally get that. I don't know, I think audio dramas would be cool, but I like the ones they already did, I love the idea of having Sarah herself tell the story. I just think they're really nice! And I could listen to her voice all day. 'Life is the most wonderful fairy tale of all!' - Hans Christian Andersen, from What The Whole Family Said |

Re: MerchandiseMerchandise is hard to come by here. Even getting DW stuff, they only send a certain amount at the beginning of the year and once it's gone, it's gone. No more till the next yr. Very painful at Christmas time trying to get stuff because it's all sold. As for SJA merchandise.......the show has only just been bought by our station and will be aired some time this year so noone here has even heard of SJA let alone have merchandise. I can't see me being able to get my hands on anything until maybe next yr and that's only if the show takes off, which I am hoping it does. My friend started a DW club at his school and during lunch, he showed the kids Invasion of the Bane. They loved it so much that when asked to vote on whether to watch SJA or DW each day, they chose SJA. The number of kids watching grew as word spread about the show. So no doubt those kids will be watching when it finally airs on TV and hopefully telling their friends to watch.

Re: MerchandiseYAY, go kids! Spread the word! I showed Invasion of the Bane to the kids I taught out in Russia and they loved it, so I'm planning to send them out the rest of the series when I can. Re: MerchandiseHas everyone heard that they're doing three new Sarah action figures from SJA?
YAY! :D Oh, and I've just thought what would be the funnest thing ever - 13 Bannerman Road Polly Pocket! Does anyone remember those, the little houses and things in those sort of clamshell cases? That would be adorable... 'Life is the most wonderful fairy tale of all!' - Hans Christian Andersen, from What The Whole Family Said |

Re: Merchandise*squees*
Awww!! Polly Pocket! I had (and er, still have) so many of them! I mean proper Polly Pocket, none of this new rubbish. But seriously, a Polly Pocket-esque 13 Bannerman Road, complete with tiny little Sarah, K9, The Kids and what have you, would actually make my life. I am such a big kid, yes I am. MAKE TEA. NOT WAR |
