Microchip event Sydney

Yesterday I received an email from Microchip informing me of their
event in Sydney and NZ next year. Do they really think I can drop everything with less than a weeks notice to fly down to Sydney? Maybe the sales reps couldn't drum up enough support so the 'b' list was then consulted. Hmm buy a Pickit 3 and get the admission fee back, not much of an incentive.
