Microsoft office ""(has encountered errors and needs to close)

I have installed, reinstalled, removed the full package and removed
parts of it, gotten new download, manually removed components etc.
nothing is working.  Can anyone help with this? It's been aboutn 2
weeks of trying everything and researching all the forums available.
Even the microsoft techs cannot help.  I removed all the
.com.microsoft elements from preferences, and all the other elements
that could possibly be interfering.

Any ideas?

Need info.

Which version of MS Office? X? 2004? 2008?

Which app in MS Office? Word? Excel? Powerpoint? Entourage?

Which version of OS X? 10.3? 10.4? 10.5?

Are you running haxies, and if so, which ones? (Hint: FontCard and
Word X do not get along)

What fonts do you have loaded? (Hint: some OpenType fonts, such as
some of the Adobe Jensen Pro OT fonts, and both Word and Powerpoint
don't get along)

Where is the crash occurring? On startup? on opening a file? On saving
a file? Where? If it's happening on opening or saving a file, is this
file on a local volume or over the network? (Hint: Office on Macs
tends to go tits-up when confronted with files over a network. Been
that way for a long, long, LONG time and there's no sign of a fix in
sight...)
