Mime types: Inode types are not subclassable

Hello,

Is there any particular reason for inode types (non streamable) for not
being subclassable? I can think of GNUstep  *.app directories as an
example of useful subclass of an inode/directory class.

Would it be possible to update the spec on this regard?

For the record, (I think you're the one who talked to me about this on irc),
the spec doesn't say (anymore?) that inode/directory is not subclassable.

Which is good, since we subclass it too (for smb servers and workgroups).
