Mobile Application Developer (Mobile, web and application developer
using J2EE and WebSphere technology – 1 year contract

Job Description:
1.   Have a thourough understand of mobile technologies on the Symbian,
iPhone, Android and BlackBerry platforms.

    1. Translate business requirements into system requirements, create
software architecture and design and evaluate technologies to use.    
2. Design and develop applications to meet a set of system requirements,
from the user interface to the backend logic and integration with DB2
functions.     3. Perform code promotion between development and test
environment, maintain testing environment.     4. Provide L1, L2 and L3
production support.     5. Execute tasks relating to code build and
packaging.     6. Should have creative problem solving and strong
communication skills (verbal and written) .     7. Should be able to
communicate directly with the end users and manage the expectations.    
8. Ability to work independently and as a team player.     9. Pleasant
personality and positive attitude is a must.    10. Besides doing
software development, the candidate must be able to design test plans
and execute test cases.    11. Able to start work within the next 3-4
weeks upon confirmation.


Requirements:

    1. At least 3+ years of relevant work experience in developing mobile
applications for the Symbian, iPhone, Android and BlackBerry platforms.
2. Intermediate skills in J2EE application development, WebSphere
Application Server (WAS) and WebSphere Portal Server (WPS).     3.
Intermediate administration skills for WAS , WPS and DB2.     4. Should
have good knowledge and hands on experience about the following
technologies:

    * Symbian, iPhone, Android and BlackBerry platforms.     * Rational
Application Developer or Rational Software Architect.     * JSP, HTML
and DHTML.     * JavaScript     * Web services     * JSON     * DB2    
* Struts framework     * XML     * Very familiar with Web standards.
