Hi all,

We (Musicmobs) just put up our first release of Mobster for Windows. You can check it out here:

For those of you unfamiliar with the application, Mobster acts as a XSPF content resolver to build playlists out of the local music library. This means that if you get a XSPF with filled out metadata (<creator><album><song>), Mobster will look through your local iTunes library and recreate the playlist with any of the songs you have available.

Mobster will also post iTunes or XSPF playlists to Musicmobs, so you can store them externally and trade them with the rest of the network.

This version is probably a bit rough around the edges, but we wanted to get it out so we could start iterating it with feedback from real users. I'd love to hear any feedback about this, or you can contact the developer directly (jeff@...).

That is insanely great, Toby.  I am in the process of getting it set up
right now, and will try to get it together enough to share some
playlists.  If anybody is interested in doing a test run with me, send an
email.

Thanks Lucas! We're pretty excited about it. We've got a couple of
bugs to work out on our end but everything should be smooth soon.

We working on some other XSPF related stuff, and making the whole
workflow better, so I'll keep everyone informed of any major
developments. I'd also love to hear your feedback after you test.
