MonetDB PHP interface

is your new native PHP interface for MonetDB complete in the Nov2009 branch,
and does it replace the old Cimpl-/SWIG-based one completely?

If so, we should consider removing the old Cimpl-/SWIG-based PHP interface
for MonetDB in the Nov2009 release ...

Yes, the native PHP implementation is present in the Nov2009 branch.
The API retains compatibility with the old Cimpl and performance on a  
set of test I run are comparable
(there is a pointer to the benchmarks on the documentation).
