Mouse RSI - a tip

Long sessions with the mouse give me RSI, but I've recently come across
the vertical mouse (www.evoluent.com), which is supposedly more
ergonomic and is certainly much more comfortable to use.
FYI, if anybody else has the same trouble, although it's guaranteed only
for Windows, in fact the wired vertical mouse works perfectly well under
MDV 2008.1 without any installation on all five buttons (left click,
right click, scroll, back and forward).  Just plug in to the USB port
and use a matt surface as the mouse pad (the pointer tends to drift
otherwise). I can't speak for the wireless version.
For convenience and to give my wrists a rest I have both left vertical
and right vertical mice plugged in, as well as a normal mouse for the
odd occasion.  Switching from one to the other is just a matter of
starting to move the mouse you want to use.
