MySQL and PostgreSQL benchmarks, FreeBSD 7 vs. 8

Hello,

I have two new articles:
First, MySQL history, which takes some older (major) versions from MySQL and
shows their performance on FreeBSD 8:

Very interesting. Good to see 8 is performing better than 7 :-)

Did you see any performance change after implementing the correct cpu
topology?
