Mylyn connector

Hello I noticed that the Mylyn connector is listed on the roadmap for
jtrac. I'm wondering what the status of this is in development, and if
there is anything I can contribute to test this connector, etc

Thanks much
Chris

I'm also willing to contribute to the development of a Mylyn
extension. What is current status?

Hi,

Regarding the Mylar connector status, you can get more details on this thread:

http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1675418&forum_id=552477

Someone could pick up the code from SVN and work with it, I'd be happy to make changes to core if required.

Thanks,

Peter.

Great. I will get started from your jtrac-mylyn project. Eclipse
failed to run the plugin right away from the checked out sources, so I
don't know what it can do yet.

After reading through the Integrator Reference I think there we should
prioritize.
1. A query that selects a list of all issues from a JTrac space.
(I'll spend most of my time here trying to learn Eclipse PDE)
2. Get the value "status" and "assigned" fields, to do filtering.
3. A test suite running a local JTrac with fixed databases.
(I won't be able to do test first until I know something about plugin structure)
4. Build scripts, if needed, for supporting different plugin versions.
5. Link to issues in JTrac using the eclipse web browser window.
6. Read all fields, including custom, for the issues in a space.
7. Start thinking about editing issues from mylyn
8. ...

Is anyone else still interested in contributing?

/Staffan
