On Nov 10, a male BLACK SCOTER was seen at O'Neill Forebay from campsite #8
at the Medeiros Wildlife Area. Head north on Hwy 33 from Hwy 152, turn into
the Medeiros Unit area, head towards the forebay, the campsite is on
your right. (Ken Schneider)

San Mateo Co.

---------------
On Nov 9-10, the LARK BUNTING continues at Byxbee Park. To get to the spot
from Highway 101 in Palo Alto take the Embarcadero exit and go east until
road ends at a "T". Turn right towards the recycling center and shortly
you can go left and enter the Byxbee Park parking area. Walk south past
the restrooms and up the hill and look on your right for the black chain
link fence that separates the park from the landfill. Walk the gravel
road/trail that goes along the fence and then a little north of the
wind wave sculpture (chains? hanging from a high log?) look along the
fence. (David Vander Pluym, Al DeMartini)
