N3 spec. errors (editorial)
For any future editions of the N3 specification currently at
http://www.w3.org/TeamSubmission/n3/
(http://www.w3.org/TeamSubmission/2008/SUBM-n3-20080114/), there are
a number of editorial errors. Here are some from the Introduction
and Grammar sections:
In the Introduction section:
* It says:
This language has ben developed ...
* It says:
This is a language which is a compact and readable alternative ...
(That "which" should be "that.")
* It says:
The developer learning N3 is invited to try the A tutorial ...
* It says
... URI abbreviation using prefixes which are bound to a
namespace (using @prefix) a bit like in XML...
(A comma seems to be missing before "a bit" (that the "which"
should be "that" or should have a comma before it).)
In the Grammar section:
* It says:
The grammar of N3 is defined by a context free grammar:
* Context-free grammar in N3
(The (first) reference to "context free grammar" should have
the hyphen too.)
* It says:
N3 files are encoded in UTF-8 (See RFC2279), in normalized in
Normalization Form C.
(Note the second occurrence of "in.")
* It says:
A full 32 unicode implementation would normally be preferable.
Also, the formatting of the non-normative text with both a
reduced-contrast color _and_ a reduced-contrast background color
makes it harder to read. Please consider ????
Additionally, the text of the third paragraph of the "Status .." section
is in a fairly pale gray.
