NS2 Installation and Share New Ideas

Hi, everybody

I am new... I want to install in Fedora  8 and learn NS2 for performing some simulation regarding my thesis work...

Basically I am Networks related field so I want to work on adhoc Mobile Network..

can anybody help me that how to install NS2 in Ubuntu and how to access and some basic knowledge to create and perform simulation..
