I ran into an ad in the local paper from a place I've not heard of before that seems to have a bunch of services like vintage repair-http://earsnyc.com/they seem to be making a rack filterhttp://earsnyc.com/FU2.htm
they have boutique guitar amp showroom (and a so so 3D rendering of the space)
http://earsboutiquenyc.com/I didn't see a reference to it on the site, but the print ad advertised "The Keyboard Museum" for rentals and sampling with a photo of 9 combo organs and electric pianos (no synths in the photo).

EARS has been around for quite a while, it seems like they've just
beefed up their advertising lately.

Years back they repaired an old Baldwin guitar amp with no schematic and
did a good job, but I've not used them for synth repairs. I can't
remember the specifics, but one of the guys was a keyboard tech in the
70s for one of the keyboard giants of the day (Wakeman? Emerson?).

Last week there was an ad on Craig's List with a link to the "Keyboard
Museum" web page but it seems they've taken it down. The focus did
indeed seem to be more on combo organs and electric pianos. I look
forward to checking it out when it's up again.

I believe I spoke to them in the past-at least one of the techs is a former Octave guy, and I was considering sending my Cat there.
