Nabble will remove the wiki feature that allows users to edit the properties of a public forum. The reason is that it is rarely used.
After the removal, only forum owners will be able to edit the properties of the forums they own. In addition, the history of edits will no longer be preserved.
We come to this decision after an internal discussion. We will proceed with the change in a few days if we don't hear objections.
If you have good reasons for objection, we welcome you to talk to us here.
May I request that Nabble Support have an announcements child forum? That would make it easier to find them, anyway; I only saw this by a chance glance.
This change is fine by me.
How will this affect one's ability to add parents/children to a person forum, which parents/children were created by someone else? How will it affect current forums already like that?

No effect. You can still add other people's forums as parents or children.
it seems like i can not edit my own forum now. I need to alter the UI customization for my OVAL forum. How can i do this? I expected to be able to edit my own forums, but not other people's forums.
