Native open dialog

Whenever I have to select a directory in SmartCVS, I get a non-native open dialog that is a pain to use in Linux. For instance, in GNOME you can set your favorite folders to be easily selected so I can go right to a specific project. Is there interest or work being done to be able to use native open dialogs instead of the default, painful Java ones?

Hi Dave,

Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use native file
open/save dialogs (aka AWT dialogs), because they are too limited in their API
which can be accessed by Java.
