I would like to migrate to Jtrac 2.1.0 Beta. Where can I find the release
notes for the changes in 2.1.0?

Thank you!

Hi,

http://jtrac.info/doc/html/introduction.html#introduction-releasenotes

Upgrading should be easy.  There are no database schema changes from 2.0 to 2.1.0

Thanks,

Peter.

Some parts of this message have been removed. Learn more about Nabble's security policy.

I was able to upgrade by copying the new war in my test server. However I would like to know the list of changes to communicate to my users before I go ahead and deploy the new war in my production machine.

I am looking for a checklist of items that has been newly added or modified from the previous release. At a cursory glance I noticed the following:

  • LDAP Support is new
  • Search Criteria is collapsed (I personally liked the old search where I could enter the criteria without having to expand).
  • The notification email list is now ordered.
  • It appears that optional fields are now defined at the user role level in the workflow setup and not at the field declaration time with the prior version.
  • The table rows can be sorted by clicking on the header.
  • Etc.

I need to know specific details of what else has changed. Does anybody have the complete list of changes?

Thanks,

Saurabh
