Need Software Tester

I am looking for a software tester at IP Commerce (www.ipcommerce.com).
This is a position centered in writing code to execute tests against our
distributed API, and is one which can expand into working with customers
more directly. Therefore, not a button pusher nor pure manager, but a
position of opportunity for a really strong candidate.

Responsibilities:

 

* Expand and maintain automated test suites against IP Commerce platform
API's.

* Report and/or document test results in support of release plans
specifically, and efforts for increased code coverage generally.

* Assist in troubleshooting production discovered defects as necessary.

 

Qualifications / Experience:

 

* Object oriented software development experience specific to web
services based integrations -- .NET experience a plus.

* A demonstrated understanding of general software testing practices.
Formalized software testing experience a plus, but not necessary. More
important is a demonstrated software development competence with an
aptitude for understanding complex environments.

* Previous experience with automated testing tools and platforms a plus.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to break down complex
problems into manageable tasks.

* Customer presentable interpersonal and communication skills.
