Need confirmation on non-working Events in Dialogs when Databrowser is opened

Hello,

Our compagny has over 100 OO-users who all uses Openoffice with
extensife use off Dialogs and macro's to automate several tasks. Sinds
our switch from 2.4 to 3.1 i have several user complaining about
non-functioning off dialog buttons in Writer documents while a
Databrowser(Beamer) is opened (mostly) whith some rows been selected.  I
can not find a reason  for when and why it happens, but Dialogs and the
Beamer are a killing combination: sometimes  the  Events behind a
buttons are worlking sometimes not ?
A few months ago i filled a issue
http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=100764  But the bug
could not been reproduced on sun machines :-)

Can someone else reproduce the problem  at least at Windows.
- Use my doc attached to the issue
- Or open a new Writer doc  and make  a dialog with a button and a event
to run a simple macro, add a field to the dialog who needs the input
from a selected row in the beamer. And see if the buttons works all the
time (change the selected rows in the beamer)

Thanks

Fernand

PS: Haply there is a (expensive) workaround:Replacing the events by
listeners

For my tests:

    * The problem exists in Windows (Vista) too, but only selecting the
record on the beamer by the record header.
    * The problem doesn't exist if you select the record by clicking on
a record's field and move up or down by clicking on the up or down
arrow, or, with CRTL pressed, selecting other records by the
      record header.
    * The problem never present if the current selection is on a
      record's field.

Ciao
Sergio

Hi,
I can reproduce the bug with a very simple dialog (attached now to Issue 100764).
It only happens if the dialog macro is run from a toolbar or from menu Tools >
Macros. So an easy work-around could be to run the macro from a form button in a
document.

Regards
   Bernard
