The fascinating world of nature is all around us and this course shows you how to study the plants and animals in your neighbourhood. You will be introduced to the different types of habitat you can find, their characteristic features and the organisms that live there. By undertaking a small amount of field work in a local public open space you will be able to collect some observations and enter them into the iSpot web database, where you will get help with identifying what you have seen. This course provides you with the knowledge and skills to start observing and recording wildlife for yourself.
