New: OOo-Dev3.2.0 developer snapshot build OOO320_m2 available

Hello QA team,

developer snapshot build OOO320_m2 which installs as OOo-Dev 3.2.0 has
been uploaded to the extended mirror network and is now available via
the download website. The rename of the product name to OOo-Dev allows
the installation of the OpenOffice.org snapshot parallel to an
OpenOffice.org 'final' (released) version.

In the Release Status Meeting it was agreed that this is a usual Dev
Build. However, it will be used as a Beta release.

If you find severe issues within this build please file them to
OpenOffice.org's bug tracking system IssueTracker.

Some time ago, there was discussion (on releases / marketing) about the
naming of the various builds / steps.

Then MH & .. (all from my memory, sorry, might as well be ML) picked it up.

Is a clear overview/plan available, without me having to dig the logs?

what I remember is that it was agreed to build a normal Dev Build, name
and promote it as Beta release on several places.

sorry, yes as the localization is not yet ready. IMHO the marketing team
(and maybe others) wanted to takeover the promotation.

Partly, but not exactly.
Starting on Sept. 7, there was a discussion on the scheme and naming for
the releases.

Goals: more feed back in an earlier stage and more promotion.
So the naming of a Beta is important (have to do some pr work tomorrow).
Then there also will be an RC1. Which probably will turn out to be
mid/end November.

the discussion ended to have a 3.2 Beta directly after the branch-off
for the OOO320 codeline. The beta version is out and it's available from
our website. Marketing has been informed on Sept 21st to plan an
announcement and announcements are partly out. Like in the past we will
have a release candidate at least a week before we plan to release. As
