Hi All,

I posted a new version of blue 2 alpha that has fixed up the reported
bugs (minus issues with PortAudio driver detection):

http://www.kunstmusik.com/blue.zip

Continuing on!

Hi Steven,

thanks for the new version and for including again the import-functions... I missed them ;-)

In this version as well as in the versions before I discovered some problems by resizing the several windows which I like very much to have opened at the same time, e.g. I can't handle the score window at the bottom in both directions up and down. Only upwards move is possible...

All the best,

Clemens

Hi Clemens,

Thanks for your feedback!  I'm not quite sure exactly if I understand
what you are stating, but I think I do. :)  I am noticing most windows
in general to not shrink gracefully.  This is especially true when the
screen is rearranged.  I noticed this with the SoundObject properties
but now see it as a pervasive problem for all the editors.  I think
this was not a problem with the old blue as everything was mostly
maximized, so my code will need to be update. I will do a general
review of all the editors and take a look at other code in Netbeans to
see how it is generally supposed to be done and will work on this.

Thanks!
steven

Hi Algodon,

I'll try it out here and will try to fix it up.  Thanks for reporting!

Hello Steven,
a small report of my experience of using the latest alfa:
the production of invisible text has been solved, it works fine now.
Also i de-activated the use of the API and there were no more crashes. But i notice from time to time while playing a score and pressing F9 that a Csound error is produced. By looking at the Csound Output Monologue i see that it just stops printing but gives no error messages.
Perhaps Csound 5.11 is more buggy?
For now i  keep on evaluating. this release...
