New Gtk+-2 port (0.6.8)

Ah, previous mail went private, since I just clicked reply...

Anyway, first bugs found:

Attempting to load a stereo wav-file brings up a tiny window
with nothing in it instead of the channel chooser dialog.
It only closes with escape, so I can't load stereo files.

Clicking on the Instr and Sample selector arrows makes them
scroll through at least 3 or four numbers no matter how short my click.
All the other number selector boxes work fine.


And thanks for the work. I think this will be as usable as
the GTK1 version soon, if the speed issues can be worked out.
Apart from the stop-motion animation I mentioned previously,
the pattern list box on the left doesn't quite keep up with
the song, either, so if I have short patterns and fast tempo (1)
and BPM (180) settings, it doesn't stop on the right pattern
when I hit space. (Still haven't looked at other people's tracks
to see how it's done properly, so perhaps my working habits
are ridiculous. I like the results, though. :)

I don't know if we have discussed of the VST support before, and I know
Yury is lonesome on this project : what do you think of the FST libray ?
I read the mainstreams project as Ardour, Rosegarden and Muse can be run
with.
I tested (again...:) some trackers as SkaleTracker (no VST support for
linux), MadTracker withe Wine (unusuable, 100% CPU occupied). It always
miss something strong with VST + Linux today.

(soundtracker:11475): Gtk-WARNING **: Attempting to add a widget with type GtkVBox
to a GtkDialog, but as a GtkBin subclass a GtkDialog can only contain one widget
at a time; it already contains a widget of type GtkVBox
