I was thinking maybe we could change Musicbrainz Picard's icons for
once, so I took up Ticket #2074 for it, to be found here:
http://bugs.musicbrainz.org/ticket/2074
I posted up my version of the icons.

However, it seems there must be approval from the community as a whole
prior to using them. There needs to be discussion as to how the icons
must look, with respect to musicbrainz' color scheme, meaning (maybe
include graphics with music notes, tags and other stuff of this
nature) or whether simple but effective icons could be used.

Hi Carlin,

as I said in the ticket I would love to have new icons. Thank you for your work and submitting them here to get a broader feedback.

In general I like the icons, I just have two issues:
1. The icons are very blue :) I think MusicBrainz is orange, so the icons should contain some orange, too.
2. I don't understand the arrow in the corner. What does it mean?

Another question: Would it be possible to get a SVG version of the icon, too? I think that would make it easier to modify the icon in the future and adopt it to different sizes.

Thanks,
Philipp

Hi Phillip,

I worked on your 2 points. Check
http://bugs.musicbrainz.org/ticket/2074 again for an update. I used
purple and orange as the musicbrainz website suggests. Theres a
representation of the note. etc. Tell me what you think of this
version of the icon, :)

Carlin.
