Hi Everyone
I am new to scripting but i love to learn but i think i may have jumped in at the deep end here (or not....) !!
I have mixed and matched bits of scripts from various sources to try and create a dialog menu (touch a button on floor) for textures changes on a sofa set, which is all linked.
I can get the whole linkset to change texture by using llSetLinkTexture(LINK_ALL_OTHERS but i couldnt find a command for individual or sets of items. I have the prim number i.e. order I selected the objects in but I cant work out which LINK to use or how to write the script to use.
I think that I have to use a link_message then Link_set but i just can seen to work out how to do it, to select individual / set of prims. I have looked all over the offical wiki and other sites but i still cant figure out how.....
Could someone please take pity on me and post me an idiots guide to walk me through how to write it please?
