New committer introduction

Hi Everyone,

I am happy to introduce myself as the new committer for the Faqbot project
(http://faqbot.codehaus.org).

My name is Rahul, and I am currently based in Wellington, New Zealand. I work
for a Java software development company here. I have been in active development
for 7+ years now, and most of my experience has been around web-based Java
applications.

Over the last 2 years, I have found myself drawn to build & release management
tools and process development. The last 8 months have seen some code hacks :-)
and patch submissions on Maven 2 and Cargo projects, and some interesting
learning and interaction with sharp minds and hard working people here!

I am excited to be a committer for the Faqbot project and believe it has a good
potential to evolve into an intelligent knowledgebase management tool.

I am in process of reviewing the existing codebase for Faqbot and would also
like to take this opportunity to invite feedback/suggestions/contributions from
everyone.

I look forward to ideas and discussions on Faqbot lists and encourage everyone
to participate actively, and to make Faqbot project a success!

Many thanks,

Rahul Thakur

Thank you, Vincent!

I am happy to be onboard.

I need to sort out the SVN commit stuff, I couldn't reopen the JIRA ticket for
HAUS-1050 but I have commented it. I scanned thru the codehaus docs this
afternoon (marked a reference in my comment) but couldn't resolve the access.

I would like to request for some help here to get me started so I could start
playing around with stuff in SVN and set things up.

PS: Sorry to be a bug, I know you are probably not working full time on projects
at Codehaus. May be you can point me to the sys-admin here and I can follow up
with him/her if you are tight on time.

Appreciate the help.

Thanks,

Rahul

Actually I don't know what's wrong. You could log on IRC, channel #codehaus
and ask there. There are 2 persons who can help you and who are always on
this channel: Bob and Ben. I'll try to check with them too but I have a busy
day today so it won't be before end of day.

Thanks
-Vincent
