Dear Gaetan Nadon!

An account has been created for you on developer-accessible machines
with username 'gnadon'.

SSH and GPG keys are used everywhere in place of your password: all
machine logins are done via SSH (passwords are disabled), and account
changes are made using your GPG key[0].

Currently, the main generally developer-accessible machine is
annarchy.freedesktop.org, which provides developer home pages
(people.freedesktop.org), shells, and several web services.
Project home pages live on gabe.freedesktop.org, under
/srv/projectname.freedesktop.org.

CVS is hosted on kemper.freedesktop.org (cvs.freedesktop.org is a
permanent CNAME), so you should access your repositories like so:
CVSROOT=:ext:username@...:/cvs/projectname
Note that anonymous CVS access is hosted on a different machine:
CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs@...:/cvs/projectname

Shells are not available by default on kemper.

Similarly, SVN and GIT are also hosted on kemper.freedesktop.org.
For SVN, commit to:
svn+ssh://username@.../svn/reponame/
and get anonymous access from:
svn://anonsvn.freedesktop.org/svn/projectname/
http://anonsvn.freedesktop.org/svn/projectname/

For GIT, commit to:
ssh://username@.../git/...
and get anonymous access from:
git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/...
gitweb is available at:
http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/

Shortly, project home pages will be moving to annarchy.freedesktop.org,
and shell access to gabe will be retired.  You have personal web space
you are free to use for any purposes that do not infringe copyright or
any laws that would get freedesktop.org into trouble.  To use it, put
files in your public_html directory under annarchy, and reference it
as:
http://people.freedesktop.org/~username/

There is one directory where I do  not have write permission, proto/compositeproto. All other proto subdirs are ok.
