Hello all !

I don't know if this is an open or a closed list, so i will spare (you
with) my introduction. I signed up to help develop the windows version
of the current sip toolbox.
Just have read some basics on the makefiles, c interfacing in Scilab
etc. . I was wondering how i can connect to the CVS server as a
developer so i can set up
my eclipse client for that. I am pondering if there is any specific
username and password i have to use, or if the connection as anonymous
user is ok  too.

Thanks in advance for your support

Kind regards

Panagiotis Chatzichrisafis

hi,welcome!

Anonymous user can't login to the CVS server, you have to follow the
instructions on sourceforge.net to get your username and password.

Hello, Panagiotis,

your contribution is more than welcome.
However, there is going to be some time before we can give you Write
access to CVS. For now, you can retrieve everything anonymously, work
on your contributions, and send them to this list. The directions are
at:

Also send us a  description of yourself, interests, etc.

Regarding the windows port, there is some info at:

http://siptoolbox.sourceforge.net/devel/windows-port.php

There is a Windows port already, with a nice installer and everything,
but the mogrify demo crashes under Windows.

Feel free to use this list as a means for discussion and for asking
development questions.

Some more info:

CVS Download (no write access for now):
http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=68055

To download our current windows port:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=68055&package_id=67061

That port was done by Zhang (the guy that replied to you first) using
Visual C++ and not MinGW.

Good luck!!
