New models - was: I give up

Today at the Yamaha dealer, I looked at a 1900 V-Twin, kind of Midnight
theme, very nice! Belt driven though. I prefer shaft, but with 2 of those
thumping 950 cc jugs, that is probably asking for trouble! Very nice bike
though, would fit my list! Did not see a price tag on it. Much nicer than
the Suzuki Boulevard 1500!

To satisfy your used cruiser needs, I'd recommend a used Roadstar.
Air-cooled V-twin, belt drive, truly huge aftermarket support, avid
following, I put 26,600 miles on mine in 3+ years before getting ran
over...It has ceramic nikasil (sp) lining in the cylinders, and nobody that
I know of has ever worn one out yet, even with 100,000+ miles.

Ahhh, but not quite what I want. I'm looking for a cruiser that both my wife
and I can go on long rides comfortably. Hence the three or four bikes I

One of the more exciting Yamaha's I've ever ridden.

(Like a heroin addict staring at a pile of china white, I saw my death in
there, but gawd I wanted it so..)

Came out in 83 or 84 I think (that's when I first test rode one)..
