Newbie question - deploy my BIRT project to WARHello all,
I have started working with BIRT. We got a prepared project with library, DataSets, DataSources, Reports and more. I am using the newest version 2.3 with the full package eclipse. We want to get this project, create a WAR and put it in our JBoss server. After searching, looking and re looking, we could not find a decent explanation of how to do it. We looked in the deployment section, downloaded the WAR structure. But it is not mentioned which files / classes we should put there and where. Is there a better place that explains this issue? Thansk |

RE: Newbie question - deploy my BIRT projectto WARHi
Did you get a chance to look at the http://www.eclipse.org/birt/phoenix/deploy/viewerSetup.php ? I was able to do successfully in Tomcat using the pointers there. Jboss deployment should be similar in nature right? Regards, Abhilash John -----Original Message----- From: birt-report-engine-dev-bounces@... Issues with Style SheetsHi All,
I am using the version 2.3 of birt and report engine. For some of the columns, I have defined borders which are one pixel wide. Though I am able to see the borders in the PDF Version, the same don't appear in the HTML (browser) version of the report. At the same time, I am able to see the background color , font etc in both the Browser version AS WELL AS the PDF versions Please advice! Re: FW: Issues with Style SheetsI am not sure but I had a problem where I defined the classes in the CSS file without the '.' (dot) and it wouldn't accept.
Only after putting the '.' in the classes names in the CSS file, it worked. On Thu, Jul 10, 2008 at 4:51 PM, John, Abhilash <Abhilash.John@...> wrote: Hi -- Eyal Golan egolan74@... Re: FW: Issues with Style SheetsHi,
Well, I'm not that an expert :) I've been working on BIRT for about two weeks or so. As for the CSS. We made a folder called shared. In that folder I put a library (of DataSources, DataSets). I have also put a CSS file. In there I made my styling. I have set the default theme of the library to USE the css file (not import). Then, in any report I want, I just tell it to use the default theme and it accepts the styling. It apply to ALL types of reports. Here's the links I collected so far: http://dev.eclipse.org/newslists/news.eclipse.birt/msg21095.html http://birtworld.blogspot.com/2007/07/its-been-while-but-after-some-family.html http://www.birt-exchange.com/ I hope that helped :) Eyal On Thu, Jul 10, 2008 at 7:30 PM, John, Abhilash <Abhilash.John@...> wrote:
