No interface information with ucd-snmp-4.1.2

Hi,
This is my first post in this forum,

Wanted to know if anyone could help me on how to add/set interface information.

I have the snmp source ucd-snmp-4.1.2

This does not show the interface information(eth0, eth1) which is down/up etc.

I would like to add this to my exisiting code ucd-snmp-4.1.2.

Can anyone guide me through this?
